Food safety and traceability is a major issue which affects every one of us.   The AIDC Centre has been actively involved in contributing to the EU PETER Project (Promoting European Traceability Excellence and Research) which looked at coordinating EU food traceability projects.  AIDC technology can play a major role in helping food producers track produce all the way through its life - often referred to as "from farm to fork".
