Collaborative EU Projects
The Centre is actively involved in a number of European projects aimed at promoting social and business benefits of adopting AIDC technologies across the European Union. Projects include:
• CASAGRAS – a major project reviewing the future RFID standardisation and the development of the “Internet of Things” concept.
• Bright Animal project – a research initiative on AIDC technologies in precision livestock farming.
• WAVE - an eParticipation project using web 2.0 based argument visualisation tools.
• RACE networkRFID - an RFID network of excellence that creates opportunities and increases the competitiveness of European Member States in the area of RFID thought leadership, development and implementation.
